Section 1Citation, interpretation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Food (Cheese) (Emergency Control) (Amendment No. 2) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 11th July 1998.

(2) In this Order “the principal Order ” means the Food (Cheese) (Emergency Control) Order 1998.

Section 2Amendment of article 2 of the principal Order

(1) Article 2 of the principal Order shall be amended as provided in paragraph (2) below.
(2) Article 2 of the principal Order shall become Article 2(1) and there shall be added after that paragraph the following paragraph—
(2) The prohibition in paragraph (1) shall not apply to cheese which is manufactured on or after 11th July 1998.
