Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Education (National Curriculum) (Key Stage 3 Assessment Arrangements) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 31st August 1998.

Section 2Amendment of Order

(1) The Education (National Curriculum) (Key Stage 3 Assessment Arrangements) (Wales) Order 1997 shall be amended as follows.

(2) In article 10, in paragraph (5) there is inserted after “English,”, “Welsh,”.
