Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Education (National Curriculum) (Assessment Arrangements for English, Welsh, Mathematics and Science) (Key Stage 2) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 31st August 1998.

Section 2Amendment of Order

(1) The Education (National Curriculum) (Assessment Arrangements for English, Welsh, Mathematics and Science) (Key Stage 2) (Wales) Order 1997 shall be amended as follows.

(2) In article 5, in paragraph (5) there is inserted after “English,”, “Welsh,”.
