Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Mid Essex Hospital Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1998 and shall come into force on 7th September 1998.

Section 2Amendment of NHS trust Establishment Order
In article 4 of the Mid Essex Hospital Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1991 (directors of the trust), for “4 non-executive” there shall be substituted “5 non-executive” and for “4 executive” there shall be substituted “5 executive”.
