Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government Act 1988 (Competition) (Wales) Regulations 1998 and shall come into force on 30th September 1998.

Section 2Amendments
The Regulations specified in column (1) of the Schedule to these Regulations are amended to the extent indicated in column (2) of that Schedule.
Section 3Revocations
In the Local Government Act 1988 (Competition) (Wales) Regulations 1997 , regulations 2(2), 3(2), 4(1) and 5(2) are revoked.
