Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Leeds Community and Mental Health Services Teaching National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment (No. 2) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 19th October 1998.

Section 2 Amendment of NHS trust Establishment Order

In article 3(2) of the Leeds Community and Mental Health National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1992 (functions of the trust) there shall be added the following sub-paragraph–

(e) to provide and manage under section 5(1)(b) of the Act hospitals and other establishments and facilities in the area of Leeds Health Authority associated with the reprovision of hospital accommodation and services from High Royd’s Hospital, Menston, Ilkley, LS29 6AQ and Roundhay Wing, St. James’s University Hospital, Beckett Street, Leeds LS9 7TF (including the management of teaching and research facilities) and there to provide and manage hospital accommodation and services and community health services.
