Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Crime and Disorder Strategies (Prescribed Descriptions) (Amendment) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 1st November 1998.

Section 2

(1) The Crime and Disorder Strategies (Prescribed Descriptions) Order 1998 is amended as follows.

(2) Article 2(2)(g) shall be omitted.

(3) In article 3(2), at the end there shall be added:

(u) a governing body of an institution within the higher education sector, as defined in section 91 of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 , in that area.
