Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Exemption) (Rugby Borough Council) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 18th November 1998.

Section 2Exemption of collection of refuse

The collection of refuse by the council of the borough of Rugby shall not be treated as a defined activity so long as it is carried out within their area during the period beginning with 18th November 1998 and ending on 30th November 1999.
