Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Dual-Use and Related Goods (Export Control) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 and shall come into force on 8th March 1998.

Section 2

The following words shall be added at the end of the definition of “the Decision” in regulation 2 of the Dual-Use and Related Goods (Export Control) Regulations 1996 :

and by Council Decision No. 98/106/ CFSP of 26th January 1998

Section 3

(1) Entry 1C911 and category 6 in Schedule 2 to the said Regulations are hereby revoked.

(2) Regulations 4 and 7 of the Dual-Use and Related Goods (Export Control) (Amendment No. 4) Regulations 1997 are hereby revoked.

Section 4

The expression “3E990” in regulation 5 of the said Regulations of 1997 is hereby revoked.
