Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Non-Domestic Rating Contributions (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 and shall come into force on 31st December 1998.

(2) In these Regulations “the 1992 Regulations ” means the Non-Domestic Rating Contributions (Wales) Regulations 1992 .

Section 2 Amendment of the 1992 Regulations

In relation to financial years beginning on or after 1st April 1999, Schedules 2 and 4 to the 1992 Regulations are amended as follows:–

(a) in paragraph 2(12) of Schedule 2 to the 1992 Regulations, for “0.996” there shall be substituted “0.999”;

(b) in paragraph 8(1) of that Schedule, for “1.1 per cent” there shall be substituted “1.2 per cent”;

(c) for Schedule 4 to the 1992 Regulations there shall be substituted the Schedule set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.
