Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Northern Ireland (Emergency Provisions) Act 1996 (Silent Video Recording of Interviews) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 11th March 1998.

Section 2
Interviews held by police officers of persons detained under section 14(1)(a) or (b) of the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989 which commence after midnight on 10th March shall be subject to silent video recording in accordance with the code of practice on silent video recording as it has effect for the time being.
