Section 1

(1) This Order may be cited as the Combined Probation Areas (North Yorkshire) (No. 2) Order 1998.

(2) This Order shall come into force on 1st April 1999 save that, for the purposes of making appointments to the probation committee for North Yorkshire to take effect on that date, this Order shall come into force forthwith.

Section 2

For that part of Schedule 2 to the Combined Probation Areas Order 1986 which relates to the North Yorkshire Area , there shall be substituted the following–
