This Order may be cited as the Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 6th April 1998.

The Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order 1998
In paragraph 4 of Schedule 7 to the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992—
(a) in sub-paragraph (4)(a) for the amount of £135 there shall be substituted the amount of £140;
(b) in sub-paragraph (4)(b) for the amounts of £17 and £135 there shall be substituted the amounts of £18 and £140 respectively.
The Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order 1996 and the Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Dependency) (Permitted Earnings Limits) Order 1997 are hereby revoked.
