Section 1Commencement and citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Local Authorities (Capital Finance) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1998 and shall come into force on 1st April 1998.

Section 2Amendment of Regulations

The Local Authorities (Capital Finance) Regulations 1997 shall be amended in regulation 24 (other leases excluded from section 48) by the addition of the following at the end of paragraph (2)—
; or
(f) article 5 of the Police Act 1997 (Commencement No. 5 and Transitional Provisions) Order 1998
