The Combined Probation Areas (Hertfordshire) Order 1998

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Combined Probation Areas (Hertfordshire) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 1st April 1998.

Section 2

For that part of the Combined Probation Areas Order 1986 which relates to the Hertfordshire Probation Area there shall be substituted the following—

Dacorum

Watford

East Hertfordshire

North Hertfordshire

Mid Hertfordshire

St Albans

Section 3

The three members of the Hertfordshire Probation Committee appointed before 1st April 1998 by the justices for the grouped petty sessions areas of Bishop’s Stortford, Cheshunt, Hertford and Ware, and North Hertfordshire shall continue in office as if appointed by the justices for the grouped petty sessions areas of East Hertfordshire and North Hertfordshire.
