Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Agriculture Act 1986 (Commencement No. 6) Order 1998.

Section 2

The day appointed for the coming into force of—

(a) section 8(4) of the Agriculture Act 1986 (substitution of new paragraph 5 of Schedule 1 to the Agricultural Marketing Act 1983 );

(b) section 8(5) of the Agriculture Act 1986 and the repeal consequential thereon (repeal of certain words in paragraph 6 of the said Schedule 1); and

(c) section 8(6) of the Agriculture Act 1986 and the repeals consequential thereon (repeal of certain words in paragraph 11(2) of the said Schedule 1);

shall be 1st April 1998.
