Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Government Staff Commission (England) (Winding Up) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 12th May 1998.

Section 2Winding Up of Staff Commission

The Local Government Staff Commission (England) is wound up and its rights and liabilities (if any) shall transfer to and vest in the Secretary of State.

Section 3Revocation

The Local Government Staff Commission (England) Order 1993 is revoked.
