Section 1
These Regulations may be cited as the Gaming Clubs (Hours and Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 and shall come into force on 11th May 1998.

The Gaming Clubs (Hours and Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 1998
Section 2
Regulation 5(1) of the Gaming Clubs (Hours and Charges) Regulations 1984 shall be amended by substituting for the figure “£8.00”, in both places where it occurs, the figure “£8.50”.
Section 3
Regulation 5(1) of the Gaming Clubs (Hours and Charges) (Scotland) Regulations 1984 shall be amended by substituting for the figure “£8.00”, in both places where it occurs, the figure “£8.50”.
Section 4
The Gaming Clubs (Hours and Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and the Gaming Clubs (Hours and Charges) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1996 are hereby revoked.
