Section 1 Title, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Environmentally Sensitive Areas (Wales) Designation Orders (Amendment) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 11th May 1999.

(2) In this Order “the principal Orders” means the Orders specified in the Schedule to this Order.

Section 2 Amendment of the principal Orders

(1) The principal Orders shall be amended in accordance with paragraph (2) below.

(2) After article 6 of each of the principal Orders there shall be inserted the following article–

Closing date for applications to enter an agreement

(7) The Secretary of State shall not enter into an agreement with any person unless an application to enter the agreement is received by the Secretary of State before 11th May 1999.
