These Regulations may be cited as the M606/M62 (Bradford Link) (Speed Limit) Regulations 1999 and shall come into force on 24th May 1999.

The M606/M62 Motorways (Bradford Link) (Speed Limit) Regulations 1999
(1) No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 50 miles per hour on the restricted length of the Bradford Link.
(2) In paragraph (1)–
(a) “the Bradford Link” means the length of motorway connecting the southbound carriageway of the M606 Motorway, at a point 1260 metres north west of the centre of Chain Bar Roundabout, with the westbound carriageway of the M62 Motorway, at a point 350 metres south west of the centre of that roundabout; and
(b) “the restricted length” of the Bradford Link means that length whose beginning is for the time being indicated by a traffic sign of the size, colour and type shown in diagram 670 of the Traffic Signs Regulations 1994 varied to indicate a speed limit of 50 miles per hour and the end by a traffic sign of the size, colour and type shown in diagram 671 of those Regulations.
