Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Scotland Act 1998 (Cross-Border Public Authorities) (Specification) Order 1999.

(2) This Order shall come into force on the principal appointed day .

Section 2 Specification of bodies etc.

The bodies, government departments, offices and office-holders mentioned in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order (and which are constituted by the enactment or, as the case may be, instrument, if any, mentioned in the corresponding entry in column 2 of that Schedule) are hereby specified for the purposes of section 88(5) of the Scotland Act 1998.
