Section 1 Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Environmentally Sensitive Areas (North Kent Marshes) Designation (Amendment) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 15th June 1999.

Section 2 Interpretation

In this Order, “the principal Order ” means the Environmentally Sensitive Areas (North Kent Marshes) Designation Order 1993 .

Section 3 Amendment of the principal Order

Part I of Schedule 2 to the principal Order (management activities) shall be amended as follows–

(a) in paragraph 1, for “130” there shall be substituted “120”; and

(b) in paragraph 2, for “200” there shall be substituted “230”.

Section 4 Saving

Article 3 of this Order shall not apply in respect of any payment to a farmer which relates to any period before 1st May 1999.
