Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as The Protection of Wrecks (Designation) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 14th June 1999.

Section 2 Identification of site and designation of restricted area

(1) The site in respect of which this Order is made is hereby identified as the site where a seventeenth century vessel lies wrecked on the sea bed at Latitude 50°3'.778 North, Longitude 05°17'.374 West.

(2) The area within a distance of 250 metres of Latitude 50°3'.778 North, Longitude 05°17'.374 West, but excluding any part of that area which lies above high water mark of ordinary spring tides, shall be a restricted area for the purposes of the Protection of Wrecks Act 1973.
