Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Restriction of Liberty Order (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1999.

(2) These Regulations shall come into force on 19th February 1999.

Section 2 Interpretation

In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires–

“the Principal Regulations ” mean the Restriction of Liberty Order (Scotland) Regulations 1998 .

Section 3 Amendment of Principal Regulations

(1) The Principal Regulations shall be amended in accordance with the following paragraphs.

(2) In Regulation 2(1), after the definition of “offender” insert the following–

“Premier Geografix” means Premier Geografix Limited a limited company incorporated under the Companies Acts under number 3522659 having its registered office at Centennial Court, Easthampstead Road, Bracknell, Berkshire RG12 1YQ;

(3) In Schedule 2, after paragraph 3 insert the following–

(4) Devices manufactured by Premier Geografix and sold under the Premier Geografix name:

(a) GEM Transmitter;

(b) GEM Site Monitoring Unit;

(c) GEM Field Management Unit;

(d) GEM Monitoring Officers Transmitter;

(e) GEM Central Computer System.
