Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Midland Metro (Penalty Fares) (Activating) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 18th January 1999.

Section 2Activation of penalty fare provisions

Sections 4 to 7 of the Midland Metro (Penalty Fares) Act 1991 shall have effect on and after 18th January 1999 with respect to travel on any Metro vehicle.
