Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education (Prescribed Period) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st September 1999.

Section 2

The prescribed period for the purposes of paragraphs 2(4) and 3(4) of Schedule 19 to the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 shall be 5 years commencing on 1st September 1999.
