Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Local Authorities (Goods and Services) (Public Bodies) (No. 2) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 19th July 1999.

Section 2 Designation as a public body

The following persons, who appear to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions and to the Secretary of State for Wales to be exercising functions of a public nature, shall be public bodies for the purposes of the Local Authorities (Goods and Services) Act 1970 in its application to England and Wales:

The New Opportunities Fund ,

The Preston and Western Lancashire Racial Equality Council ,

Renaisi Limited .
