Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Scottish Parliamentary Elections (Returning Officers' Charges) (Amendment) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 18 June 1999.

Section 2Amendment of the Scottish Parliamentary Elections (Returning Officers' Charges) Order 1999

(1) The Scottish Parliamentary Elections (Returning Officers' Charges) Order 1999 is amended as follows.
(2) In the definition of “by-election” in article 1(2) for “8” there is substituted “9”.
(3) In article 3(1)(b) for “7” where it appears in the second place there is substituted “8”.
