Section 1Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Fees) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 1999 and shall come into force on 1st August 1999.

Section 2Amendment of the Merchant Shipping (Fees) Regulations 1999

(1) The Schedule to the Merchant Shipping (Fees) Regulations 1996 shall be amended as follows:
(2) In Part I, paragraph 2(1) for “£60” there shall be substituted “ £70”.
(3) In Part XII, in the Table, for the entries listed in the column headed “ Other surveys, inspection and tests, per hour or part thereof ” there shall be substituted the following entries:
