Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Appointment of Queen’s Counsel Fees Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st September 1999.

Section 2Fee upon application for recommendation for appointment as Queen’s Counsel in England and Wales

Where a person applies to the Lord Chancellor to be recommended for appointment as Queen’s Counsel in England and Wales, he shall pay a fee of £335.
