Section 1 Title, commencement and extent

These Regulations may be cited as the Countryside Access (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1999, shall come into force on 17th September 1999 and shall apply to England.

Section 2 Interpretation

In these Regulations, “the principal Regulations ” means the Countryside Access Regulations 1994 .

Section 3 Amendment of the principal Regulations

After regulation 13 of the principal Regulations there shall be inserted the following regulation–

(14) The Minister shall not, in relation to land in England, accept an application for aid under regulation 5 in respect of any access period beginning in the year 2000 or any subsequent year.
