Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (Amendment) Regulations 1999 and shall come into force on 27th August 1999.

Section 2 Amendment of the National Institute for Clinical Excellence Regulations 1999

The National Institute for Clinical Excellence Regulations 1999 are amended as follows—

(a) in regulation 1(2), in the definition of “the Act”, for “1997” there is substituted “1977”;

(b) in regulation 4(1), for the word “should” there is substituted the word “shall”.
