These Regulations may be cited as the European Economic Interest Grouping (Fees) Regulations 1999 and shall come into force on 1st March 1999.

The European Economic Interest Grouping (Fees) Regulations 1999
In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires–
“ the Act ” means the Companies Act 1985 ;
“the EC Regulation ” means Council Regulation ( EEC ) No. 2137/85 of 25th July 1985 on the European Economic Interest Grouping ;
“ EEIG ” means a European Economic Interest Grouping formed in pursuance of article 1 of the EC Regulation;
“the principal Regulations ” means the European Economic Interest Grouping Regulations 1989 ;
“the relevant Community obligations” means the Community obligations of the United Kingdom under article 39 of the EC Regulation;
“the registrar of companies” has the meaning specified in section 744 of the Act ; and
“basic set of microfiche copies” means a set of copies of the records relating to one EEIG kept by the registrar of companies in the form of microfiche copies.
The fees payable in connection with the services and facilities provided by the Department of Trade and Industry in pursuance of the relevant Community obligations relating to the matters set out in the first column of the Schedule to these Regulations, implemented in part by the principal Regulations, are the fees payable to the registrar of companies set out in the second column of the Schedule.
The European Economic Interest Grouping (Fees) Regulations 1989 are hereby revoked.
For registration of an EEIG whose official address is in Great Britain under regulation 9 of the principal Regulations
For inspection of a basic set of microfiche copies
For a basic set of microfiche copies–
delivered at an office of the registrar of companies
For paper copies of records relating to an EEIG delivered at an office of the registrar of companies–
–if requested on the same occasion as an inspection of the records relating to that EEIG, or on the same occasion as a request for a basic set of microfiche copies relating to that EEIG, per page
For paper copies of records relating to an EEIG recorded and kept by the registrar of companies in the form of a microfiche copy, delivered by post–
in respect of one document
For paper copies of particulars registered in respect of an EEIG–
–delivered at an office of the registrar of companies
For a certified copy of, or extract from, any record
For the registration of a charge under paragraph 4 of Schedule 4 to the principal Regulations per entry on the register of charges kept by the registrar of companies in respect of an EEIG
