This Order may be cited as the A406 Trunk Road (Hanger Lane, Ealing) (Prohibition of U-Turn) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 8th November 1999.

The A406 Trunk Road (Hanger Lane, Ealing) (Prohibition of U-Turn) Order 1999
In this Order:
“The Trunk Road” means that length of the A406 Trunk Road in the London Borough of Ealing known as Hanger Lane.
“Ashbourne Road” means the road of that name in the London Borough of Ealing.
Save as provided in article 4 below, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle proceeding in the southbound carriageway of the Trunk Road to make a U-turn at the junction with Ashbourne Road so as to proceed in the opposite direction.
Nothing in article 3 above shall apply to–
(a) any vehicle being used for Police, Fire Brigade or Ambulance purposes, or
(b) anything done at the direction of or with the permission of, a constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
