Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Railways (Alternative Closure Procedure) (Amendment) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 13th December 1999.

(2) In this Order “the 1994 Order ” means the Railways (Alternative Closure Procedure) Order 1994 .

Section 2 Amendment of the 1994 Order

Article 2 of the 1994 Order shall be amended as follows—

(a) the word “and” at the end of paragraph (i) shall be deleted;

(b) at the end of paragraph (ii) there shall be inserted—

and

(iii) article 4(1) of the Docklands Light Railway (Lewisham Extension) (Exemptions) Order 1999

(c) in the Schedule to the 1994 Order, at the end there shall be inserted—

London Docklands Railway (Lewisham) Act 1993
