Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Non-Domestic Rating Contributions (England) (Amendment) Regulations 1999 and shall come into force on 31st December 1999.

Section 2 Amendment of the 1992 Regulations

Schedules 1 and 2 to the Non-Domestic Rating Contributions (England) Regulations 1992 are amended as follows.

Section 3 Rules for calculations of contributions

(1) In relation to financial years beginning on or after 1st April 2000, in Schedule 1—

(a) in paragraph 1(4), for “1999” there is substituted “2000”;

(b) in paragraph 4(4), for “1999 is £82,506,000” there is substituted “2000 is £83,476,000”;

(c) for Part II there is substituted—

In relation to financial years beginning on or after 1st April 2000, in Schedule 2—

(a) in paragraph 2(12), for “0.92” there is substituted “1.0”;

(b) for the table in paragraph 8(1) there is substituted the following—

Section 5 Areas ceasing to be enterprise zones

In relation to the financial year beginning in 2000, for Part II of Schedule 2 there is substituted—

PRESCRIBED AMOUNTS IN RESPECT OF ENTERPORISE ZONES
