Section 1

(1) This Order may be cited as the Afghanistan (United Nations Sanctions) (Isle of Man) (Amendment) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 23rd December 1999.

(2) In this Order, “ the Order ” means the Afghanistan (United Nations Sanctions) (Isle of Man) Order 1999 .

(3) This Order shall extend to the Isle of Man, as part of its law.

Section 2

In article 3(2) of the Order there shall be inserted after the words “Sanctions Committee” the words “; and particulars of any such designation shall be published by the Secretary of State”.

Section 3

In pararaph 2 of the Schedule to the Order the words “and no document seized under Schedule 2(2) above” shall be omitted.
