Section 1 Citation and commencement

(1) This Order may be cited as the Social Security Benefits Up-rating (No. 2) Order 1999.

(2) This Order shall come into force immediately after the coming into force of article 3 of the Social Security Up-rating Order 1999 (increase in rates or amounts of certain benefits under the Contributions and Benefits Act).

Section 2 Amendment to Schedule 4 to the Contributions and Benefits Act 1992

In paragraph 11 of Part V of Schedule 4 to the Contributions and Benefits Act (rates of industrial injuries benefit: widower’s pension), for the sum of £66.25 there shall be substituted the sum of £66.75.
