This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (Commencement No. 13) Order 1999.

The Criminal Justice Act 1988 (Commencement No. 13) Order 1999
Section 2
The following provisions of the Criminal Justice Act 1988 shall come into force on 1st January 2000—
(a) the entries relating to sections 39 and 40 of the Powers of Criminal Courts Act 1973 in Schedule 16 (repeals); and
(b) section 170(2), to the extent necessary to bring the entries mentioned in paragraph (a) above into force.
