Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

These rules may be cited as the Land Registration (No. 3) Rules 1999 and shall come into force on 1st April 2000.

Section 2 Amendments to the Land Registration Rules 1925

The Land Registration Rules 1925 have effect subject to the substitution of the following for rule 247–

Value entered on the register

(247) On the first registration of land, and on a subsequent change of proprietorship of the land, the registrar shall whenever practicable enter in the register the price paid or value declared but that entry shall only remain until there is a change of proprietorship of the land.
