Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the River Tay Salmon Fishery District (Baits and Lures) Regulations 1999 and shall come into force on 1st March 1999.

Section 2 Specification of baits and lures

Natural prawns and shrimps (whether fresh or preserved, dyed or natural colour) and any part thereof are hereby specified as baits and lures for the purposes of the definition of “rod and line” and section 24(1) of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Protection) (Scotland) Act 1951 .

Section 3 Areas of application

These regulations shall apply to the River Tay Salmon Fishery District.

Section 4 Revocation

The River Tay Salmon Fishery District (Baits and Lures) Regulations 1992 are hereby revoked.
