(1) This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Application of the Superannuation Act 1972, Section 1) Order 1999 and, subject to article 2, shall come into force on 23rd March 1999.
(2) In this Order “ the Act ” means the Superannuation Act 1972.
With effect from 1st September 1998:
(a) section 1 of the Act shall apply to employment by the New Opportunities Fund, being employment remunerated out of the National Lottery Distribution Fund; and
(b) employment by the New Opportunities Fund is added to the employments listed in Schedule 1 to the Act.
Employment by the Data Protection Registrar is added to the employments listed in Schedule 1 to the Act.
