Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Northern Ireland (Emergency Provisions) Act 1996 (Amendment) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 4th March 1999.

Section 2
The following organisations, that is to say—
The organisation using the name “The Orange Volunteers” and being the organisation in whose name a statement described as a press release was published on 14th October 1998
The Red Hand Defenders
are hereby added to Schedule 2 to the Northern Ireland (Emergency Provisions) Act 1996 (which specifies organisations which are proscribed organisations for the purposes of that Act).
