Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Housing (Right to Buy) (Cost Floor) (Scotland) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st April 1999.

Section 2Period of account
The period of time for the purposes of section 62(6A)(a) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987 shall be the period commencing with the beginning of the financial year of the landlord which was current 10 years prior to the date of service of the application to purchase the house.
Section 3Application
This Order shall not have effect in a case where a notice under section 63(1) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987 was served before this Order came into force.
