Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (County of Kent) (Borough of Maidstone) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st April 1999.

Section 2 Interpretation

In this Order “the principal order” means the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (County of Kent) (Borough of Maidstone) Order 1997 .

Section 3 Amendment of the principal order

(1) The principal order shall be amended as follows.

(2) Article 3 shall be omitted.

(3) In article 4 for the words “the area to which this order applies in accordance with article 3 above” there shall be substituted “the Borough of Maidstone”.

(4) Schedules 1 and 2 shall be omitted.
