Section 1Citation, commencement and transitional provisions

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Legal Aid (Mediation in Family Matters) (Amendment) Regulations 1999 and shall come into force on 12th April 1999.

(2) These Regulations shall apply to applications for mediation made on or after 12th April 1999 and applications made before that date shall be treated as if these Regulations had not come into force.

Section 2Amendment to the Legal Aid (Mediation in Family Matters) Regulations 1997

In regulation 3 of the Legal Aid (Mediation in Family Matters) Regulations 1997 , for “£172” there shall be substituted “£178”.
