Section 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Central Sheffield University Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st April 1999.

(2) In this Order–

“ the Order ” means the Central Sheffield University Hospitals National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1991 ;

“the trust” means the National Health Service trust established by the Order.

Section 2 Amendment of Establishment Order

For article 3 of the Order, there shall be substituted the following article:–

Nature and functions of the trust

(1) The trust is established for the purposes specified in section 5(1)(b) of the Act.

(2) The trust’s functions shall be to provide and manage:

(i) The Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Glossop Road, Sheffield S10 2JF,

(ii) The Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, Wellesley Road, Sheffield S10 2SZ,

(iii) The Jessop Hospital for Women, Leavy Greave Road, Sheffield S3 7RE, and

(iv) The Weston Park Hospital, Whitham Road, Sheffield S10 2SJ,

and there to provide and manage hospital accommodation and services.
