Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the GLA Side Roads (London Borough of Camden) Designation Order 2000 and shall come into force on 19th June 2000.

Section 2 Designation of GLA side roads

(1) The roads in the London borough of Camden specified in the Schedule to this Order are hereby designated as GLA side roads .

(2) The description of a road includes the intersection of that road and any other road that crosses it at the same level.

(3) In the Schedule “m” means metres.

(4) In accordance with section 124A(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, 3rd July 2000 is hereby specified as the date on which the designated roads are to become GLA side roads.

Section 1

Adelaide Road from the eastern kerbline of Avenue Road eastward for a distance of 52m.

Section 2

Alvanley Gardens from its junction with Finchley Road to a point opposite the southern boundary of 24 Alvanley Gardens.

Section 3

Ardwick Road—

(a) (north side) from the western kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 22.5m west of that kerbline;

(b) (south side) from the western kerbline of Fortune Green Road to a point 11m west of that kerbline.

Section 4

Arkwright Road from the north eastern kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 40m north east of that kerbline measured on the north west side.

Section 5

Avenue Road from the southern kerbline of Adelaide Road southward for a distance of 35m measured on the west side.

Section 6

Boundary Road the north side from a point 18m west of the western kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 25.5m east of the eastern kerbline of Finchley Road.

Section 7

Burgess Hill from the western kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 18.3m west of that kerbline.

Section 8

Burrard Road from the south western kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 18.3m south west of that kerbline measured on the south side.

Section 9

Canfield Gardens—

(a) (north west side) from its junction with Finchley Road to a point opposite the south western boundary of 2 Canfield House, Canfield Gardens;

(b) (south east side) from its junction with Finchley Road to a point 42m south west of the south western kerbline of the service road (Finchley Road).

Section 10

Cannon Hill—

(a) (north west side) from the south western kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 30m south of that kerbline;

(b) (south east side) from the south western kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 18.29m south of that kerbline.

Section 11

College Crescent—

(a) (northernmost end) from the north eastern kerbline of Finchley Road north eastward for a distance of 17m measured on the north west side;

(b) (southernmost end) from its junction with Finchley Road to a point 40m south of the southern kerbline of Buckland Crescent measured on the east side.

Section 12

Fairfax Road from the south western kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 20m south west of that kerbline.

Section 13

Finchley Road from the boundary with the London Borough of Barnet to the northern kerbline of Hendon Way.

Section 14

Fortune Green Road from its junction with Finchley Road to a point 35m south of the southern kerbline of Ardwick Road.

Section 15

Frognal from the north eastern kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 20m north east of that kerbline measured on the north west side.

Frognal Lane—

(a) (north west side) from the north eastern kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 35m north east of that kerbline;

(b) (south east side) from the north eastern kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 25m north east of that kerbline.

Goldhurst Terrace—

(a) (north west side) from its junction with Finchley Road to a point 23m south west of the north eastern wall of 191 to 217 Finchley Road ( St. John’s Court);

(b) (south east side) from its junction with Finchley Road to a point opposite the party wall of 9 and 11 Goldhurst Terrace.

Heath Drive from the north eastern kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 40m north of that kerbline measured on the east side.

Section 19

Hilgrove Road from its junction with Finchley Road to the western limit of the access road to the garages which lie to the rear of Gillies House Hilgrove Road and Farjeon House Finchley Road.

Langland Gardens from the north eastern kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 15m north east of that kerbline measured on the north east side.

Lithos Road—

(a) (north west side) from the south western kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 18.3m south west of that kerbline measured on the north west side;

(b) (south east side) from the south western kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 28.3m south west of that kerbline measured on the north west side.

(a) (north west side) from its junction with Finchley Road to a point 40m south west of the south western kerbline of Finchley Road;

(a) (east side) from the southern kerbline of Adelaide Road southwards for a distance of 19m;

The service road fronting 191 to 217 Finchley Road (St. John’s Court)—

(a) from its junction with Canfield Gardens to a point 6.5m south east of the south eastern kerbline of Canfield Gardens measured on the north east side;

(b) from a point 37m south east of the south eastern kerbline of Canfield Gardens to the junction of the service road with Finchley Road measured on the south west side.

Weech Road from the south western kerbline of Finchley Road to a point 18.3m west of that kerbline measured on the south side.

West End Lane from its junction with Finchley Road to a point opposite the western wall of 363 West End Lane.

Camden High Street from the north western kerbline of Parkway and Camden Road to a point 26.5m north west of a point opposite the party wall of 189 and 191 Camden High Street.

Section 32

Cardington Street from the eastern kerbline of Hampstead Road eastward for a distance of 22m measured on the south side.

Section 33

Carol Street from the south western kerbline of Camden Street south westward for a distance of 10m.

(a) from its junctions with Eversholt Street and Camden High Street to a point 30m north east of that point measured on the south east side;
