Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the GLA Side Roads (London Borough of Southwark) Designation Order 2000 and shall come into force on 19th June 2000.

Section 2 Designation of GLA side roads

(1) The roads in the London borough of Southwark specified in the Schedule to this Order are hereby designated as GLA side roads .

(2) The description of a road includes the intersection of that road and any other road that crosses it at the same level.

(3) In the Schedule “m” means metres.

(4) In accordance with section 124A(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, 3rd July 2000 is hereby specified as the date on which the designated roads are to become GLA side roads.

Aberdour Street between its junction with Old Kent Road (A2) and a point 7m north east of the front wall of 59 Old Kent Road.

Section 2

Albany Road between its junction with Old Kent Road (A2) and a point 30m south west of the rear wall of 320 Old Kent Road.

Section 3

Asylum Road between its junction with Old Kent Road (A2) and a point 5m north of the southern flank wall of 2 Asylum Road.

Section 4

Avondale Square between its junction with Old Kent Road (A2) and a point 1m south of the southern flank wall of 1 to 7 Tevatree House.

Bartholomew Street between the building line of Great Dover Street (A2) and a point 6.5m south west.

Section 6

Becket Street between its junction with Great Dover Street (A2) and a point 1.5m north east of the south western corner of Selborne House.

Black Horse Court between the building line of Great Dover Street (A2) and a point 4m north east.
