This Order may be cited as the GLA Side Roads (London Borough of Sutton) Designation Order 2000 and shall come into force on 19th June 2000.

The GLA Side Roads (London Borough of Sutton) Designation Order 2000
(1) The roads in the London borough of Sutton specified in the Schedule to this Order are hereby designated as GLA side roads .
(2) The description of a road includes the intersection of that road and any other road that crosses it at the same level.
(3) In the Schedule “m” means metres.
(4) In accordance with section 124A(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, 3rd July 2000 is hereby specified as the date on which the designated roads are to become GLA side roads.
Ash road between its junction with Stonecot Hill (A24) and a point 20.5m north west of the common boundary of 101 and 103 Ash Road.
Burleigh Road between its junction with Stonecot Hill (A24) and a point 22.5m north west of the common boundary of 87 and 89 Burleigh Road.
Cheam Common Road—
(a) (south west side) between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 7m north west of the party wall between 7 and 9 Cheam Common Road;
(b) (north east side) between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 1m south east of the common boundary of 26 and 28 Cheam Common Road.
Clarkes Avenue between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 23m south east of the common boundary of 11 and 13 Clarke’s Avenue.
Courtenay Road between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 23m south east of the common boundary between 2 and 4 Courtenay Road.
Elm Road West between its junction with Epsom Road (A24) and a point 1.5m north west of the rear boundary wall of 91 Epsom Road.
Gander Green Lane between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 11m south east of the common boundary between 575 and 577 Gander Green Lane.
Garth Road between its junction with Stonecot Hill (A24) and a point 12.5m south east of the common boundary of 2 and 4 Garth Road measured perpendicular to the north eastern kerbline.
Glyn Road between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 10.5m south east of the south eastern front wall of 629 London Road.
Hamilton Avenue between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 1m south east of the common boundary between 234 and 236 Hamilton Avenue.
Hill Top between its junction with Stonecot Hill (A24) and a point 16m north west of the common boundary of 1 and 3 Hill Top.
Kingsbridge Road between its junction with Stonecot Hill (A24) and a point 21.5m south east of the common boundary between 2 and 4 Kingsbridge Road measured perpendicular to the north eastern kerbline of Kingsbridge Road.
Kingsmead Avenue between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 29.5m south east of the common boundary between 2 and 4 Kingsmead Avenue.
Langley Avenue between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 21m south east of the common boundary of 2 and 4 Langley Avenue.
Lavender Avenue between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 25m south east of the common boundary between 1 and 3 Lavender Avenue.
Lloyd Road between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 25m south east of the common boundary of 1 and 3 Lloyd Road.
Malden Road—
(a) (south west side) between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 4m south east of the party wall between 277 and 279 Malden Road;
(b) (north east side) between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 5.5m south east of a point opposite the party wall between 281 and 283 Malden Road.
Lower Morden Lane (south west side) between its junction with Epsom Road (A24) and a point 11.5m south east of the common boundary between 1 and 3 Lower Morden Lane measured perpendicular to the south western kerbline.
Nova Mews between its junction with Stonecot Hill (A24) and a point 10m north west of the extended kerbline of Stonecot Hill (A24).
Oaks Avenue—
(a) (south west arm) between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 3.5m south east of the common boundary of 1 and 3 Oaks Avenue;
(b) (north west arm) between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point opposite the common boundary of 2 and 4 Oaks Avenue measured perpendicular to the north western kerbline.
Palmer Avenue between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 25m north west of the common boundary of 78 and 80 Palmer Avenue.
Ridge Road between its junction with Stonecot Hill (A24) and a point 35m north west of the common boundary of 232 and 234 Ridge Road.
Senhouse Road between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 13.5m north west of the common boundary of 1 and 3 Senhouse Road.
Staines Avenue between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 3m north west of the common boundary between 2 and 4 Staines Avenue.
Stonecot Close between its junction with Stonecot Hill (A24) and a point 13.5m north west of the common boundary between 25 and 26 Stonecot Close.
Sutton Common Road between its junction with Epsom Road (A24) and a point 4.5m south east of the common boundary of 486 and 488 Sutton Common Road.
The Spinney between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 10.5m south east of the south eastern kerbline of London Road.
Trafalgar Avenue between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 5m south east of the north western flank wall of the Lord Nelson public house, London Road.
Tudor Avenue—
(a) (south west arm) between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 2m south east of the common boundary of 1 and 3 Tudor Avenue;
(b) (north west arm) between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 3m north east of the common boundary of 2 and 4 Tudor Avenue.
Tudor Drive between its junction with Stonecot Hill (A24) and the borough boundary with the London Borough of Merton.
Unnamed access road (serving Sainsbury’s plc) between its junction with London Road (A24) and the highway boundary.
Unnamed road known as the access to St. Anthony’s Hospital between its junction with London Road (A24) and the limit of the public highway.
Wellesley Court between its junction with Stonecot Hill (A24) and a point 2.5m north west of the north western front wall of 95 Stonecot Hill.
Wickham Avenue between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 32m north west of the common boundary of 168 and 170 Wickham Avenue.
Willowhayne Gardens between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 8.5m south east of the south eastern front wall of 477 London Road measured perpendicular to the north eastern kerbline of Willowhayne Gardens.
Wordsworth Drive between its junction with London Road (A24) and a point 19.5m north west of the north western flank wall of Sidmouth Court, Wordsworth Drive.
Abbotts Road between its junction with St. Dunstan’s Hill (A217) and a point 6m north east of the common boundary of 11 and 13 Abbotts Road.
Alberta Avenue—
(a) (north west side) between its junction with St. Dunstan’s Hill (A217) and a point 41m south west of the common boundary of 116 and 118 Alberta Avenue;
(b) (south east side) between its junction with St. Dunstan’s Hill (A217) and a point 26m south west of the south western boundary wall of 183 Alberta Avenue.
Alcorn Close between its junction with Sutton Common Road and a point 1m north east of the north eastern wall of the Youth Centre, Sutton Common Road measured perpendicular to the north western kerbline.
